We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a software project manager. The responsibilities of the software project manager include overseeing software projects from start to finish, managing and motivating software developers and other team members, giving customer presentations, and writing project proposals. The candidate should have good communication and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining tasks, dependencies, milestones, and timelines.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Leverage the full capabilities of Asana for task assignment, dependency tracking, and progress monitoring.e
Configure Asana to suit project-specific needs, including custom fields, templates, and integrations.
Train team members on Asana best practices and ensure adoption.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and track progress in Asana.
Monitor project timelines and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
Adjust schedules and resource allocation as needed to meet project goals.
Establish and maintain quality standards for deliverables.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to established guidelines.
Identify and address project roadblocks and bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
Generate regular progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change logs.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in project management and Asana functionality.
Propose and implement process improvements for enhanced project efficiency.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, and software development.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Proven experience in project management and software development using Asana or similar project management tools.
Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques.
Excellent technical knowledge.
Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
